American Meadows Perennials
The Meadow Event Park in Caroline County, Virginia, is rich in history and an adaptable event space. Located just minutes from Richmond and Fredericksburg, an easy drive from Hampton Roads/Virginia Beach and a straight shot from the D.C. area, The Meadow Event Park attracts guests from throughout the commonwealth.
Thoroughbred racing legend Secretariat was born here in 1970. Three years later he blazed his way into Triple Crown history. Today his birthplace is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and the Virginia Landmarks Register. Narrated tours have been suspended at this time.

PARKING FOR MEADOW EVENT PARK EVENTS: The park has an ample amount of flat and accessible parking. Please see the attached map for an overview of where handicapped parking areas generally are located. PARKING MAP.
Since then, The Meadow has transformed from a family farm to a multi-purpose venue that is home to the State Fair of Virginia and other notable events. The 331-acre property features a mixture of original structures and newly constructed facilities.

Riding Camps
American Meadows Coupon
Horse camps are full of fun and learning; they are also a great introduction for a new rider. Our horse camps are from 9 am to 12 pm, Monday to Friday during spring and summer breaks of schools. We also offer Pro D Day camps from 9 am – 12 pm on the various dates.
All aspiring riders, of all skill levels, 5 years and older are welcome.
